The featured artwork on the €200 note is a reproduction of 'The Kiss' by Gustav Klimt. These notes are gilded in the same way as the original with a bright golden lustre!
Please note: Although these 200 euro banknotes are genuine, they are no longer considered legal currency by the ECB because they have been intentionally changed.
Extra security features include a screen printed title and artist below the painting in dark gold, and a screen printed 'artnote.org' in a pale pearlescent gold above the painting. 24ct gold leaf was used to embellish the kiss.
